MY RIGHT BRAIN

Hold on! Just because the title of my article reads 'My Right Brain', it doesn't mean I am going to take you through a biology session, or give you a report on the medical condition of my brain.. It's just that the Left Hemisphere has been the center of attention all this while and it is high time that I pamper the Right Hemisphere.

Left Hemisphere of the brain has to do with 'Logic Reasoning'. Remember the school and college days where we had to memorize pages of answers and had to find solutions to the  very puzzling mathematical equations? In fact I find the adjective puzzling for mathematics very bleak. I would rather use the word 'Enigmatic'. Those days have given the Left Hemisphere of the brain a good amount of work. Whereas the Right Hemisphere of the brain has to do with 'Creativity' which many of them use occasionally. The scientists use their Right Brain to invent and create new things, the authors, painters, musicians, and all those people who come up with new ideas use the Right Hemisphere of their brain.

Ever since I stopped attending the Toastmasters Club meetings which I love and miss the most, I feel that the Right Hemisphere of My brain has gone into a deep slumber.😪 Oh! If you are wondering what Toastmasters is all about? It is a platform that helps you improve your Communication and Leadership skills. For more information about Toastmasters do visit the website www.toastmasters.org and become one among the gift of the gab by joining the nearest club at your place. 😊

I thought it was high time to wake my brain up, for which I had to choose a suitable hobby. Blogging was on my mind for a long time, but I was a little hesitant to start blogging. I almost felt like a little boy standing shivering out of fright to take his first leap into the swimming pool. But a very dear friend Toastmaster Sapna gave me the fist push by motivating me into starting off one right away. (I am sure you now know why I miss the Toastmasters so much. They are not merely members of a club but also are friends and family who love and care for each other. 😊 Thanks to Toastmaster Sapna for the Loving push! 💖

"Blog, Weblog! What do I put up on it?" was the first question that stuck out of my mind like a nasty thorn sticking out of the leg. Bloggers with a flair for writing, who are donnish, the erudite bloggers all blogging and I an amateur blogger amidst them all, "Would my blog be read?" 😕 was yet another question that popped out of my mind. But a little voice from nowhere asked me, "Did any one achieve any good with fear in their heart and unscrupulous doubts in their mind?" Never! So I thought, it is high time I take a plunge into the world of Blogging with gusto and explore territories untouched.

My brand new hobby of Blogging has surely set my stagnated mind into motion. Right now it's going at a snail's pace. Have you seen a snail look around for food and when found, chew on a piece of it? Chomp...Chomp...Chomp...That's what my mind is doing. Since it has just got out of hibernation and has slowly started contemplating on the various thoughts that has been manifesting in my mind, which it can freely express through the blog... I know some day my mind which initially started moving like a Snail will surely start running like a Racing Horse. A Horse that which will travel far and near, high and low the territories of my little world and show you the glimpse of the same.

There is so much in my world that I look forward to illustrate. Unfortunately the English vocabulary has limited words and I much fewer. Never the less, I'll make attempts on inspiring, motivating, dramatizing, informing and will come up with some interesting expressions through my Blog. You'll find yourself Smiling if not laughing as I'll make efforts in finding my funny bone through my write up; I will share experiences, some that make your mouth water, others where you can smell nature, sounds amplified through words, reads that mystify and we will travel parts of India.

I am glad I have kick started the Right Hemisphere of my brain through adopting a new hobby. I believe that everyone must engage themselves in working on at least one hobby. A hobby that helps the creativity, knowledge, strength and confidence grow in oneself. One that keeps you happy, peaceful, healthy, both physically and mentally. Most of all one that gives a pass to all negative thoughts that corrode your mind and people that saunter into your life. I had been scripting speeches as a Toastmaster. I only hope my maiden attempt at writing an article for my Blog pays off well. Anyways, Kudos to you if you have already adopted a hobby, and if you haven't, take a break from the mundane life, brace up and kick start that Right Hemisphere of your Brain by soon espousing a hobby of your choice. 😊

Good Luck! 👍😊
